I like the fact that you mention that this kit should compliment a Bug Out Bag or Get Home Bag. This is exactly what I have set up as this kit should not be crammed into other bags, for easy access and not to take up valuable bag space. The inclusion of the decompression needle bothers me as to use it is beyond the EMT level of training in most states where only paramedics are trained to perform this. I guess this depends on of you want to carry it for those that may be trained, but I would have this as an option, not part of the standard pack. The kit should include a triangular bandage or ace type bandage to help hold wound packing. I would also add some 4x4 and 5x9 pads for less sever wounds.

every time a bougie and overhyped influencer tells me about some 400 dollar knife and how it's the best bushcraft knife, I smile and pull out one of my moras. There is no better value, and they do everything a knife needs to do.

I wouldn't sleep on these knives. I remember when they carried the Spyderco Persistence, Tenacious and Resilience in the past. I picked up the Resilience and was glad I did. it was $55 - $65 i think, can't remember but I know I bought it because the price was right. Will definetly pick up the Kraftig and Leicht, might even pull the clip off the Leicht and piggy back it on the Kraftig.

How do the ESSE knives compare to the OKC fixed blades? I've had a Rat 3 for a few years now. I haven't done any real bushcraft tasks with it, but it has dressed a few whitetails well.

Where do you find them at Walmart? I looked and didn’t see any good knives in the outdoor section.

I couldnt agree more that the number 1 knife anybody should own is Morakniv. Price ranges for just about everyone, and they are way stronger than they have any right to be. Personally i own the companion, bushcraft black and Garberg. All are fantastic for their price range.

Those 2 first swiss tech fixed blade knifes you showed are nice. But i honestly don't like the kinda coating they have on them. It just screams that it's gonna strip off easily. How is the quality of the scissors on the swiss tech multitool and pocket knife? My experience most aren't that great especially compared too swiss army knife brand scissors. That Balken folder is a little pricey imo for D2 when there are many other quality brands using D2 and same locking mechanism for far cheaper.

Great video with some nice blades. I got to spend NKD at SMKW and since my budget was taxed lol, I could only pick up a new Mora, but I do love me some Mora knives, so it's all good.

At $50 you can buy more than one and spread them out between your bug out bag, 1st, 2nd and 3rd bug out locations. To me having multiple stash's is the ticket to long term survival. Right off the bat, I would buy all three of the fixed blades.

I just bought the leicht so far i love it edge outta the box is ok but just ok im gonna change that soon though all i carry is 3in blade fixed blades it will be good in my rotation

Has anyone seen a release date for that Uberall? I’ve been hyped for it but I can’t find a date anywhere online. I found the Leicht in my local store so I got excited hoping the Uberall would be out shortly but no dice so far.
